During the 40 DFL campaign, we invite everyone to participate through offerings of prayer, concern, and supplication.  Consider including in your prayer the following...

• Unborn in danger of abortion
  
• Mothers, fathers, and families of the endangered unborn
  
• All those who make or influence the life and death decision
• Aborted unborn
  
• Mothers of the aborted
  
• Fathers of the aborted
  
• Families of the aborted
  
• Friends of the aborted’s family
  
• All those involved in the act of killing an unborn child.  Especially pray for the abortion practitioners, all those who assist them, and for individuals who offer services and products that allow the abortion facility to function.  As we seek to forgive their actions, we pray fervently for their conversion.
  
• Each one of us who has allowed the advent of abortion-on-demand,
  and allowed it to persist.
  
• Our country that has suffered in untold ways because of the
  terrible injustice of abortion.
  
• Our world, and the influence our country has on it in the proliferation of abortion
  

We also ask for prayer and expressions of concern for the success of the 40 DFL campaign and for the safety of all those who participate in it - through prayer, fasting, outreach, and/or vigil.

Consider adding life-affirming prayers to your daily life.  A few example prepared Christian prayers are included below.  But the injustice of abortion transcends religious differences.  Regardless of your religious convictions, please feel free to pray fervently and from your heart with extemporaneous prayer, or other expressions of concern and supplication.

Prayer for the Endangered Unborn Child

Jesus, Mary, Joseph,
I Love you very much.
I beg you to spare the life
of the unborn child that
I have spiritualy adopted
who is in danger of abortion.

Prayer to End Abortion

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

Father and maker of all,
you adorn all creation
with splendor and beauty,
and fashion human lives
in your image and likeness.
Awaken in every heart
reverence for the work of your hands,
and renew among your people
a readiness to nurture and sustain
your precious gift of life.
